I totally dig cars. I fantasize about turning heads in a Lotus or Maserati. Alas, my bank account will never fund one of those gems. But we are Toyota fans. We had a 4Runner that unfortunately turned out to be a lemon (private party sale, no fault of Toyota's) and now have had a Highlander for a couple years, which I love. I prefer the added room in the 4Runners, but the significantly better gas mileage of the Highlander is what drew us in. I'd be very happy getting a newer model when ours kicks the bucket (hopefully not too soon, though!).

I'm with you: I'll wash it, dry it, and take it out of the dryer, but the folding and the putting it away? Ugh. I don't know why it's such a hassle, but it's my second-least-favorite household task. The first? We have indoor cats. I'm sure you understand.

I love Cold Water washing but I always have to use free and clear stuff for Miles' skin. Wonder how this compares?

I have been battling the loads of laundry piling up on my couch for weeks. I've almost conquered it. Just in time for it to be laundry day again!

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to try it out. For me, it's the sorting and the 'doing' of the laundry. Folding..give me basketfuls and a good program on tv and I'm a happy camper!

I've always preferred cold water washes as well, but I really like the smell of Arm & Hammer detergent... I may give Tide a second try though. :)

Ahhh, this is just what I was looking for. Every time I can't think of anything to write about it always happens to be a Sunday. I don't know why it happens on that day but it just occurred to me a few weeks ago so I've been looking for something to get me going on that day. I do Fill in the blank Friday from another blog and really enjoy that. This wont be easy for me though since I'm one of those people that proof reads as I go, a few times through before I hit publish and then re-checks and re-edits around 5 more times. So this writing in the raw will be hard for me.

Isn't it amazing how they grow up so fast. My kids are 15 and soon 18 and graduated. *sigh* Where has all the time gone.

So adorable! Happy Birthday to Lil' Evan. Such a sweetie. I love things like this bc you can see how much they grow over time. I remember doing something like this for BG1 when she turned 5, it was my gift to her, altho it turned into a 30 minute photo/video montage of her life so far, she loved it & watches every now and then haha.

In NZ, you do start school on your 5th birthday - it's a huge deal. And not Kindy, either. Full-on school. It's a major milestone and a huge party.
